Cranberry Springs is a master planned, mixed-use development that is known for the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, home of the Pittsburgh Penguins.  While working at PVE, I worked on a number of other developments surrounding the Sports Facility including: strip retail and office, a standalone restaurant (Firebirds), and the Marriott TownPlace Hotel.

Cranberry, PA

I primarily worked on the site layouts and landscape plans, ensuring ordinance compliance, and in the case of the Marriott TownPlace Hotel, designing exterior amenity spaces.  The concept sketches were done in conjunction with the architect, Desmond, and developer, Spectra, and were turned into construction drawings within days.  The sandstone found throughout the development is the custom finish of the developer himself, who also happens to love tulips and planted prolific displays which bloom every Spring.  He also very kindly provided a scissor-lift at sunset so I could get the high vantage point and magic hour light shown in the images displayed here.
